Default Headers

Hi everyone I have a 78 corvette with a 350 crate in it. I’m looking to get a set of summit racing ceramic headers. The notes say I must remove mid mounts and ears on the frame. I’m assuming that’s the mounting points on the frame but what are the ears exactly. Figured I’d ask before I buy and commit

I think I would keep looking.

A good great set of headers fit w/o any modifications. Or very minor mods with A/C brackets, etc. Sounds like they want you to whack on the motor mounts?

Read some of the reviews on Summit about fitment with these headers. It's called Ease of Installation or something like that.

go with a header company. Im sure Summit has a company make headers for them but they may just use a generic set of instructions. Make sure the headers say corvette specific or they will not line up with our frame cutouts
