Mismatched headers?
I’m building an L98 (‘88) to a 383 and using AFR Street 190 heads. These have D ports. I can get a set of old Hooker long tube headers but they are oval where they meet the head. Is that going to be a problem?

As long as the hole in the header doesn't block any part of the port on the head. Your just fine.
