Default Ring and pinion
Hey does anyone know if 4 11 gears from a 63 vette will fit in a 1980 dif? Part number 3822988.i have a chance to pick up these nos gears for 150 hoping that they'll fit. He says 63 to 80 should work but so far I see in my research 63to 79 work and 1980 are 4 10 gears?

Nope, two totally different differentials. 1980 was the first year for the Dana rear in the Corvette.

63-64 gears in addition to not fitting into a 80-82 are bad gears
They have a design flaw and the pinions snapped in half
