I just bought these (well the extended travel versions) and I'm waiting for cooler weather to install. If you look at the gusseted are you see a oval-shaped cutout. On either side of the oval is a threaded hole. These are the mounting holes for the lower coil-over shock mount.
You'll need to make sure your shocks come with the lower mounting bearing/T-bar or buy the one from Global West. It's basically a short bar that goes through lower shock bolt hole, and has bolt holes on both ends. Check the pictures at the link below.
Oh. Unfortunately, I've not tried them yet so I don't know if mine are difficult to start the bolts, too. Are your threads in good condition? I've seen new components with threads that are already buggered up.

Summit didn’t send the bolt kit and Globalwest did everything they could to remedy the situation , will try bolt’s tomorrow and let you know
