OK. you have a check engine light. Must be a very late C3. But perhaps you could clue us in.
What year car?
OK. You have determined that somehow this engine code has something to do with the gas cap??????
I'm extremely curious how you came to this conclusion.
And then the title of this thread indicates a issue with your fuel level sender. Which could give you fuel guage or low fuel light issues. But certainly not a check engine light.
Fairly difficult to help you without a bit more detailed information.
