Default Radio question

The radio in my 75 has gone wonky. The one speaker working sounds like it's from a small transistor radio, would the amp have anything to do with it? Anybody in here have knowledgeable about these stock radios?

Could be amp, with antenna and speakers as contributing factors. I have a '72 with the am/fm stereo, used to work but now it's doesn't, so will also be looking for repair ideas. Way on the back burner, behind the cracked windshield and the (you promised to fix it) air conditioning, but if I come up with anything I'll pass it along.

If you have the OEM Radio with the convector (power transistor on a heat sink), I am afraid to inform you that it’s probably not the convector. I sent my OEM Radio (1973) to Robert at Precision Radio, he so was confident that the convector was ok, that he told me not to send it to him. If your radio is stereo, then there are two power transistors on the heat sink. He said that most of the time on the old Delco Radios, the capacitors are faulty along with the on/off switch.

I just sent both of my 69s radios to Dr Dons in Texas for repair and restore.
$350 each and did a great job.
