I pulled this from another thread, looking at a '72. Front toe 1/4" total, does that mean that adding both just needs to equal 1/4? so 1/8 and 1/8 would be ideal? And is the Camber figure same, showing what total is? thanks.
Front Camber 3/4 +/- 1/2 deg positive Front Toe In 1/4" +/- 1/16" total
The 1/4" toe spec is from original GM spec for Bias Ply tires.
It will result in excessive tire wear on modern radials.
That is why the chart above, and Van Steel, Guldstrand and all the Vette suppliers recommend less if you run modern tires.
The same with the change in Camber recommendations, it is more aggressive than needed.
Excessive toe-in and negative camber results in inside tire edge wear, called cupping, on radials.
The chart above is excellent!
Your GM spec calls for positive camber, from the old Bias days, you really want Negative for radials.
Preferred Caster setting will depend if you have manual or power steering. Stick with the factory 2.75 pos caster if you have manual.
If you have power, see how close you can get to the 4 degree caster number, but the other 2 take priority.

I wanted to reply to this thread and say it is the most comprehensive reference for c3 corvette alignment i have seen. The cast, camber, toe figures and explanations from the well know resources are great! I finally found a shop in S. NJ that could do my alignment to the spec i wanted. (my application was custom for my 1974: i have a few upgrades- borgeson, 550 pound springs, spreader bar, bilstien in front, qa1 in rear, all new bushings, stock control arms with slotted upper shafts (Norval Wilhelm mod on cf from years ago) to get as much castor as possible.)) I took old catalog from VBP's whith my hand written notes to the shop in Woodbury, NJ and they did me solid. the car handles like i had hoped it would! Thank you @Mooser and @Jebbysan !
