When to Torque the Front End
I am reassembling my front end, used Moog ball joints and tie rod ends, and am ready to put the wheels on and lower the car. I have NOT torqued anything except the LCA shafts to the frame. I have not torqued the upper or lower ball joint top nuts, nor any of the tie rod nuts.
1. What are good torque specs? I have the AIM and a word doc that I found here for "moog" torque specs.
2. For any of the castle nuts/cotters, after torque, do I back them out so the pin will stay in place?
3. What do I torque before I put weight on the car?
4. What do I torque after I put the wheels on and weight on the suspension?
Thanks!!
Lars' a couple posts down from thread start. Send him an email request for paper.

2, general rule is to torque then back off to the nearest cotter pin alignment
3, everything except the stuff in #4
4, The control arm to shafts (upper and lower) should be with the suspension loaded, (possibly the swaybar but I'm skeptical on that) everything else can be torqued with the suspension hanging. Lug nuts of course
