Centerforce Clutch Won't release
Car has Richmond 5 spd and aftermarket steel bellhousing. PO built it that way, and looking thru bellhousing, looks like Centerforce clutch with the weights. I can see the fork and TO bearing moving to push back the clutch fingers. About 1/2 in. Rods Z bar etc look OK. Clutch is heavy, has some chatter in 1st gear since I bought the car; 3:08 rear does not help!
Is it possible for the clutch disc to break at the center "splines" or the diaphragm?
What if dual?
How far should the TO bearing move?
There is absolutely no noise or grinding, just felt the pedal pressure change. Any way to check?
Thanks!

Perhaps your geometry changed somewhere else, like at the Z-bar, and you just need a clutch adjustment?
At any rate......unless you somehow can adjust it away....you are putting a clutch in it.......and it doesn't get much better than the McCleod.......I recommend it very highly.......perfect pedal feel too.
