I'm putting these in my 70 coupe today and noticed that the lower spring collar is made for a beehive type spring. The spring I got with the kit is a standard spring with the diameter consistent top to bottom. The raised section of the collar is smaller in diameter than the spring. Do you think this is a problem? I know I should check with VS, but I was really wanting to get this installed this weekend.
It looks like you have the the wrong spring collar.
I just installed my QA1 Van Steel semi coil overs and the collar fits much closer to the diameter of the spring and I don’t have the beehive style springs either.
I would contact Eric on Monday and have them send you the correct collar.
