79 C3 - Power Window Relay / Circut Brkr
I have a 1979 C3 - Does this year have a power window realy? Or just a circut breaker? The catalog shows 68-78. Neither window works after replacing motor. Circut breaker shows low ohms has continuity. Any help appreaciated.

Correction: WIndows work from console but not doors. I pulled CB from fuse panel an re-inserted. WOndering if the red wire under CB was effected when re-inserting CB?? Any experience appreciated. Also, looked for power window relay in assembly manual but could not find one. Is there one on a 79 C3?

I thought the center console was for the windows, and the door switches were for the (power) door locks.
Take a look at the wiring diagrams here. Note that the 79 door lock position changed during that model year.

Bikespace, Thank you for the docs and links. You fixed my power door window problem - they are for door locks - my new problem. I will look for door lock relay etc. and trouble shoot. I bought the car to drive and only been fixing things so far. I will get there!

No relays in the power switch circuit, either. You can get new lock actuators from Rock Auto. There is also a lubrication trick you can do. I'll add a link if I find it.
Or, windows down, T-tops off, don't need locks.
