4l60e driveshaft lenght

4l60e driveshaft lenght
Hi all,
I finally gave up on using the 200r4.
I now have a 4L60E on the bench, ready to be fitted in a few weeks/months whilst I'm gathering all the parts I need. Meanwhile I'm also building a new garage in our new house.
I'd like to get a driveshaft made (any places you can advise me) and shipped to me in Belgium.
For that, I would need the lenght it needs to be, which seems to be difficult. I see a few figures ranging from 25" to 28".
Is there anyone here with a pre 1980's C3 and a 700r4/4L60E who want to measure their driveshaft from the center of the U joint to the center of the U joint? I'd be a great help!

I have a 4L60E in my 82. I can measure the driveshaft when I get a chance. Otherwise, Silver Sport can assist with the correct driveshaft.

I recently had one built for my 79 700R4 - 27 inches center to center

very close to another I saw which was 26.5", with the yoke being able to slide in and out, that's probably all correct
