Clutch adjustment HELP
Hello out there I was looking for a little help with my 80 Vette on a little clutch adjustment. I shifts pretty good overall going from 1st to 2nd it chatters slightly if the clutch is not firmly all the way to the floor. I noticed when I push down with my fingers there is quite a bit of play [about 3 inches] before it stops. I was looking for an easy way to take some of the travel out of it. I can see the adjusting rod under the booster with the 2 nuts and bracket with the cotter pin attaching it. Has anyone done this recently and can give some instruction. I have never done before mostly had automatics. Thanks so much for any help. Brian
