I speak of the 12 bolt diff conversions and how they are stronger than the common 10 bolts used.
Here is a 12 I finished going to Europe soon. It has 1480 axles. I am holding a 1350 axle next to it. Most don't know the difference, but you can see it here.
The 1350 is fine for 600 hp and street use but not for drag racing. If you are going to race and launch a vette IRS a lot , the 1480 12-bolt has been the best for the past 50 years. If mainly racing go to a spool.
This diff also has a billet 1350 pinion yoke. Vettes never had 1350 yoke, just 1310 or 1330. If using a modern trans, like a TKO or TKX, the tunnel needs to be glassed.
