What’s this for?
Have the dash out of my 69 on the back of the tachometer. It looks like a condenser don’t know what that’s for. Also, there’s another unit electrical connections on one side and vacuum nipples on the other don’t have a clue.!

Post some pictures. Sounds like one of the Capacitors/Condensers to minimize radio interference but without a picture that's just a guess.
The second contraption sounds like the wiper door interlock solenoid. But really.... show us some pictures.

Hello. On my 69 I didn't have the condenser, must of been removed by someone. As carriljc said it was probably for radio interference. I think there are other condensers on the car at other locations to stop interference on the AM stations.
The other part is called the "Windshield Wiper Door Vacuum Control Solenoid". You may want to look at the online catalogue for corvette central or others. They have a brief description of it's purpose.

Well, thanks guys now that I know what it is I know I don’t need it when I do get some wiper doors I’ll be converted it over to electric with Richards kit
Anybody know where I can get some wiper doors I’ve seen some trash on eBay those are non-starter. I have checked the parts for sale here on the forum but no doors, Corvette Central doesn’t show any either
