If it is well tucked into the bottom of the fender and is maybe holds a gallon of air or so. I believe whet you are looking at is the Vacuum reservoir and there are lines going to it connecting it to your cars vacuum system.

Hello again Chief!

I saw your request for a picture which would be a great help of course but a lot of us (me, included) are not familiar with putting pictures up.

On my 1968 the only thing that looks kind of boxy and is below the fender but near the Master Cylinder. The only thing there on my 1968 is a vacuum reservoir. I would have been curious if he was describing the Horn Relay, that has wires that are important in my 1968.

Regarding putting up pictures, when you are going to reply to a thread, click the box that says GO ADVANCED. That will bring up a new reply window. GO to the top heading and click on the paper clip icon. Then just drag whatever picture you want into that new window, click on the UPLOAD and it will show up in your reply where you left the cursor ( the blinking little line) . Old guys need to stick together and If I can do it anyone can.

I'm thinking the reservior too, only thing I can think of.
Actuall posting photos is quite easy if you have a picture file on your computer, not a phone. I do take pics with the phone, then download to my computer (laptop) picture file, edit for size, then post using the forum's picture posting site.
