I’ve replaced all power steering components and welcome another set of eyes on the routing before I snug everything down. I know, not the best of lighting and angles! Just seen the pictures when I got home.

Looks like you've got the crossing correct there. Cycle it from one way to the other and make sure the hoses to touch anything and you should be good. Careful starting the car the first time incase the centering was somehow affected/moved.'
Yup, biggest thing to check are lines from the pump to the control valve. With the front end still up in the air have a helper turn the wheel from lock to lock. Look for any rubbing or kinking. Also watch that no hose gets to close to the exhaust. That one I learnt the hard way. It doesn't necessarily touch the exhaust but if it's fairly close the life of the hose will be short.
Not knowing what year your car is. I am told "Some" of the latter cars had this bracket.
Certainly not the best photo. But the gold colored bracket basically underneath the control valve in this pic. ???
Some cars came with this bracket, most did not. However most later cars, 78 up I am told did.
At any rate. It is not necessarily.
If this is the bracket your referring to.
Never seen that before, quick check and it looks like they added it to the valve assembly in 74.. Almost looks like it's just to get the hoses in the correct location.
IMO, the bracket is more of a deflector shield than anything else...
If the system was opened up, make sure your hands are OFF the steering wheel when you first start the car.
The valve will most likely need to be centered and if it is way off the steering wheel MAY rotate full L or R and you don't want your hands near the spokes...
