Glad to have you here. There are plenty of helpful people here and I'm sure you will be able to answer a few questions yourself. Chrome bumper cars are cool, so are convertibles. Even if it's all torn apart, do you have some pictures? It would be nice to see it.

Hey. Good to see another 70 vette in pieces. I have one too. I just keep pluggin and eventually I will get there. I did have a bunch of pics I took of mine while I was rebuilding the front suspension but, unfortunately my harddrive died that had all of that on it and it is all but gone now.

Joe...

Definitely a great group of C-3 owners here who will go out of their way to help. Some will even get up on ladders on a late Saturday nite and take a jpeg of a part on their car so you can see what they are talking about.... foot included.

And if you happened to forget in the last two years the basic tools necessary to work on one of these things, here they are.

Welcome to our little corner of the world. :seeya
Before you logged in, you had a choice to take the red pill or the blue pill. Now that you've already taken the red pill (or was it blue  ) it's too late. You'll find yourself addicted to the corvette forum and to spending all your money on your vette. And when you think you've got it the way you want it someone here will put on some new wheels, add some gizmo, or drop in a new crate engine and you'll find yourself wanting to do the same. I remember when I first joined I thougt 350-380hp was PLENTY. Now that seems like childsplay. But seriously, having the fastest or shiniest car isn't what we're all about....we just love our Corvettes. :auto:
Welcome and ask tons of questions, you'll learn a lot and make some new friends.

Welcome to the forum. Like you I have a 70 vette in pieces  At least this past weekend I started re-assembly. That is if you count the upper & lower control arms

Jim
I have a couple in pieces (well 1.5). There are lots of us in the same boat,
so give a post and get some answers. They aren't always correct answers  ,
but the majority will steer you in the right direction :steering: .

Good luck - and hope you can take/host pics for us to see.
A picture of your problem will usually get 10x more response.

Welcome! You'll find plenty of help here, I guarantee!! Glad you recovered from your cycle wreck. I had 2 back in the mid 90s and many, many close calls. I'm lucky to have sold them before I got hurt. My brother-in-law was not so lucky. He was killed April 2002 while riding a crotch rocket. 4 wheels are much safer!
