Sorry - that chuckle was me - just thinking about my VERY FIRST vette repair.
She needed to pass safety inspection - and the Ebrake was frozen.

Long story - but the Ebrake job snowballed into new:
diff cover
rear spring
adj strut rods
new shock mounts
new trailing arms

Stupid question - but since it seems to work a little - did you try tightening
the adjustment at the end of the first cable - where it goes through the
spreader to the second cable (at the Y) ? Like most Ebrake setups, the cable
can be tightened by moving the nuts that hold the 1st cable to the spreader.

ps - I don't recall if I even bought an Ebrake kit (years ago with no digicam).
It should have all you need, besides the cables/pulley/etc that are outside the wheel.

Good luck. adjust 1st buy 2nd :seeya

EDIT - I see the 'kit' doesn't come with shoes - but the old ones should be OK - I think. $60 for a set of shoes !!!

OK - now I remember - the new TA comes with all new brake hardware installed.

IF the car still rolls forward with some drag, but won't roll back with the eBrake on, unfortunately that's common. IF you have no eBrake at all, as suggested, try adjusting at the cable Y connector.

Lastly, if necessary, the ebrake kit is not that hard to install. There's a couple of good docs on the CorvetteFAQ.COM site as well as on Zip Products site to walk you through it.

I don't know if it's the best kit but there is nothing wrong with it. If I recall correctly, that's actually where I got mine from (Stainless). Everything went together fine and works well.
