Instructions make it seem as if direct connect. 🧐 Black/yellow/red on the new stereo. Grey/black/yellow plug. Yes there is carpet fibers on the plug from carpet install. Will clean it up. 🤓
Best? Clip and solder the red wire from the radio to the yellow wire on the 3 pin connector.
Or-unpin the female spade ( yellow wire) and use a male spade with connector cover
I use them on the wiper kit harness- so no modding whatsoever-see pic
Then run the black to the negative terminal of the battery - along with the yellow along with fusing it at the battery.
I have all that stuff- and I'll add it to your package!!!

We already have direct wires running to the battery for the vintage air. Is it ok to have all these wires running directly to the battery?
Guess I’m just used to seeing only 2 things connected to a battery. Looks a little wild in there right now. 🔋🪫
Crimped these to the of speaker wires. Never done anything electrical other than the solder shrink connectors. 🤣 Heat shrink Extended heat shrink to cover more of the tabs. 👍🏻
