My books show 3 letters and 4 numbers in the code. First 2 are the ratio AA=3.55,AB=3.70,AC=4.11,AD=4.56.AW=3.08, AX=3.36 and LR=3.36 (yes they are the same) 3rd letter is the plant: C= Buffolo, G=Checy Gear & Axle, K=GM of Canada, W= Warren. the first 3 numbers are the day of the year and the last number is the shift 1=first,D=Day shift, N=night shift. Are you sure you read your numbers correctly? The numbers on my 71' were not stamped very well.
