Slip Yoke for TKX Conversion on C3?
That is fantastic news.
When the painter dropped my body on the chassis he said I had plenty of room with my TKO-600 and the 1350’s.
As soon as I get it home, I’ll be checking it just to be sure.
Did you take any pictures of your tunnel mod?
1350 Slip Yoke fully retracted. Tight clearance!
Slip Yoke fully extended. Tighter clearance.
Window in Tunnel on passenger side.
Aluminum sheet metal pop riveted in place.
A little extra clearance on the passenger side.
Less than a "finger" clearance, but it works fine.

How close is your parking brake cable? I moved mine to be sure I had enough room

Once I proved that a 1350 u-joint would work, I bought a quality Mark Williams forged split yoke for the final assy. Same quality at the rear end with a 2-1/2" CrMo driveshaft in between.
I don't remember the parking brake cable being a problem. The cross member supplied by SST may have the brake pulley in a slightly different position. The picture shows the brake cable on the slip joint because it's not connected.
