I have a completely rebuilt 71 C3 with a Tremec T5 TKOmaybe only 100 miles on it) that has been sitting for a while. It doesn't want to go into gear when hot but is fine when cold.
Not sure if this is something that was happening before but my guess is it did. I am not the original owner of the build. Any ideas to try would be appreciated! I was thinking obvious like linkage, fluid level...etc. but not sure of any other things to try.
Try readjusting the clutch. The PO could have installed a passenger TO bearing rather than a Corvette TO bearing. The passenger bearing will do exactly what you are experiencing. Once you get it sorted out, you are going to love the Tremec. Good luck. Jerry
Thanks! I have limited experience here. So from what I see the c3 corvette TO is a shorter 1 1/4” and the passenger vehicle TO is a longer 1 7/8”. So if it is the longer passenger one wouldn’t it be the opposite where it pulls the disc further from the flywheel?
