I have a set of MSD cut to length plug wires and I need to crimp terminals on the end for my HEI. The double crimp terminal MSD provided with the kit does not have an obvious section to crimp the conductor part of the wire. Can I just fold the wire back on the insulator and crimp it like a single crimp terminal?
Picture of the supplied "double crimp" terminal:
I can try crushing down that "middle" section between the cup and the insulator crimp, but that tends to screw with the actual shape of the cup.

I'm not sure those are actually the "dual crimp" terminals. (Look like regular ones to me)
The dual ones had a definite separate part ahead of the main crimp.
Those that you show should have the conductor folded back like you say

Yeah, they must not be double crimp as you say because they don't have the conductor-specific tabs. I wonder why their instructions are the way they are written... I'll try and post a photo of the instructions so that you can see that I'm not crazy...

Probably because the instructions were written back when that was the type of terminal being supplied, but now, with the influx of the cheaper off-shore "stuff" being put in the box, just nobody went back a rewrote the instruction sheet commensurate with the change.
