TBH it's pretty tight and I'm not comfortable torquing it down any further. Original style compressor.
I have since heard/read there are more than one "style" of R134 Adaptors. Mine came from LAPS.
Put some soapy water on the valve to determine where the leak is coming from. Could itbee from the Schrader valve? The valve is essentially a tire valve. You can screw and unscrew them with an inexpensive tool. Make sure the O-ring is well lubricated with the oil used in the system. Jerry
