Cooling Fan Design
I have a 73 BB using a cooling fan and the clutch. Cools ok using a Stewart S2 waterpump etc. However, I have seen at car show's several 73 and 74's BB's that were survivors with cooling fans that have a unique tip on the end of the fan blade. The fan is the usual 50% in the shroud, but the tip is just outside the shroud.
I have looked in all the catalogs and literature and do not see the fan with the tips on the end. Obviously these must only be available used or from NOS. Any ideas on the worth of this design fan blade? Does it cool better than the aftermarket that you buy now? Thanks.
