Re: Time To Do Something To My Motor... (Stingy74)
Who cares what his girlfriend thinks, with that motor he can get all the tail. You got to think long term dude. When it's all said and done he will be the shiznit. That will increase his chick magnet ability exponentially. :yesnod:

Why not consider using the new 502/720R engine as a guide? Gotta believe that you can dip into 11's without a huffer (supercharger).
Becasue superchargers are cool, he could probably go faster with a big shot of N20 on the motor he has. There is just something about an 8-71 sticking out of the hood.
Re: Time To Do Something To My Motor... (69 N.O.X. RATT)
The thing with the superchargers is the massive torque right at idle. The torque at 1200rpm from a wild set of heads will roast the tires.
Hotrod 123 you must be young if you think a car attracts someone you want to spend the rest of your life with
I think Shane has found someone a little better then what runs after cars.
Also the visual image comming down the street can't be beat with big cubes and load exhaust. The whine of a blower wins all the time. :)
TedH:
The motor right now (judging by the 116mph trap speed) should have the capability to run high 11s with some traction. That's what I'm going to find out this spring. What's a 502/720R?
69 Ratt:
You are correct, it's just something about the visual appeal of an 8-71 sticking out of the hood that appeals to me.

You are right...she really is special :yesnod:.
