Default Recommendations for Monza front end completion?

Hi folks! Just picked up this Monza non-tilt front end from FB marketplace. Because it is only half-front (not all the way back to door), do you recommend a specific patch panel to splice with it to finish it? Or will any ol’ mid-/late-C3 half-fender splice with it? I have an 80’s style front end already on it, but would like to take it off as a whole without chopping the current one

I'm going to educate myself on fiberglassing and of course the dos/don’ts. That said, because Monzas seem to be so rare these days, I really don’t want to mess anything up - any advice/recommendation is certainly appreciated before I get too far into this project.

Those square fixed lights are horrible for night driving. The lights are projecting out of a black surounding box. It was a mistake that I did. I did all the fiberglass work at home, but it's nasty work even with a face mask and full suite.

Not sure I understand the question. Why what? It’s a cool front end and I’ve been needing to replace the one currently on it.

And I’ll keep it in mind for the lighting issue. I might look into maybe doing LED bulbs or something to help with that.

The c3 corvettes. Are some of the most beautiful cars ever made. Very few people have improved on the original design.
Another headlight option are the ones used on the L-88 race cars.i changed my hood some love it some don't.
That aside fiberglass work isn't simple.

Agreed - they are beautiful cars. The car has the 80’s style front end on it right now, so I was aiming to go back to its original ‘76 from end before I saw the Monza for sale. Either way, I’m in for work - replacing to the original style or Monza - so thought why not make it a bit unique along the way. 🤙

Need to look for differences in the fender flare. Some of those have flared wheel well openings. My Dad ran into that problem on his custom front end. Found subtle flares when the shop tried to fit the new front mini clip. Caused a lot more work for the shop.
