Maybe a good thing the store does not list it.
90% chance they would get it wrong. Fits All Vettes From 1897 - 2025
Take a peek at Summit. They list Corvette pumps.
The distance from timing cover to back of pump.
The pilot shaft diameter.
The distance the hub is from the pumps bearing.
And the fan / pulley bolt pattern / spacing are some of the differences.
Thanks guys, I have a parts catalog coming along with a service manual..I need all the brackets and pulleys on the front of the engine..
This project will be intresting
If you are in need of the front Pulleys and accessories. I swapped my belts for a Serpentine belt conversion and it came with the pulleys and brackets. You might consider one of the kits that has all the parts along with the brackets. The kit I used was from March Performance and had aluminum billet pieces that were light weight and easy to install. The March kit was close to $2k when finished. Holley makes some nice looking front mounted accessory drives as well and they come with the various parts you need. Buying original Corvette brackets and pulleys will get very expensive. The original pulleys I pulled off were very expensive as some were cast iron like the double belt Power Steering pulley. I cleaned the brackets and vacuum bagged them for use in the future in case somebody wants to Undo what I did to my C3. I have boxes of stuff I removed from the C3 and they will all go with my car to my Daughter after I am no longer able to drive the C3.
The only problem is the space you have under the hood, be absolutely SURE that the parts are able to fit under the hood in between the suspension! This is Critical!
I should post all of that stuff. I have two C3 SBCs worth of pulleys, etc, including a new, never run water pump.
I also have a lot of the stock stuff I pulled from my l48... and of course that whole motor.
I didnt like the rusty painted stuff on my car so I swapped to a regular short polished WP and a few shims behind the billet pulleys I swapped to line everything up. Also as others mentioned the shaft size is different for the fan mount so I had to do some mods to the pulley and shaft diameter until I eventually upgraded to electric fans. unless someone is trying to do an original restore I think moving away from the proprietary stuff is a good option as the nicer products are more easily found and less expensive in general. That said I understand our goals are all our own.
