Hello I have a 1978 corvette with an automatic transmission turbo 350. the pin on the floor shifter that moves the neutral safety switch is broken. Can you just replace the part that has the pin for the switch or do you have to buy a complete shifter assembly? If you can get it separate what is the part name? Thank you for your help

If I zoom in on the c-channel under the pin, there looks to be a hole inside the channel so I'd venture a guess and say its removable but I dont have it in front of me to confirm that. The second pic (from a vendor site) shows the pin seem a different light gray color than the chrome of the channel so that makes me think its two pieces. Sorry that I can answer definitively.
