So I am putting a new firewall insulation pad in my 76. As well as cleaning up the wiring under the dash which someone prior to me hacked pretty bad. It came time to split the fuse box so that I could get the insulation placed correctly. The fuse box is horrid! Now I know why the wiring is hacked up. Has anyone had experience in buying a new harness for one of these? I see that I can get a complete harness (dash, engine, forward lights, and rear body) from Zip Corvette. Suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Make sure the harnesses are manufactured by Lectric Limited for you 76. No matter who you purchase them from.
Go to there website, enter your make, model and year and put together a list. There may be some variables as to auto/manual so make sure you purchase the correct harnesses. https://www.lectriclimited.com/
Yes, Lectric Limited without question. I purchased all the wiring harnesses for my 1971 restoration and everything fits perfectly and their customer service is without parallel. I believe most of the Corvette parts suppliers sell their anyway but I went direct. The shipping cost was extremely reasonable and the harnesses arrived quickly.
I ended up buying my harness from Lectric. I had an issue with check out. Called them and it was instantly fixed. Great customer service. Yes the harness is just as everyone said. I'm in the middle of installing it now. Of course there are things I'm doing during installation such as painting the brake pedal and steering column brackets, fitting my aftermarket defroster vent and speakers to the underside of the dash pad, and so on. Quick question. Should I use antisieze or the dry graphite on the brake pedal bushings?
