Default Safty Inspection Stickers.....Pain in the butt.

Where would you place your safty inspection stickers? Mine is not on the chrome bumpers and I just have a new paint job, stickers not on yet.
Mahalo...

What are safety stickers? Unless they are required by law I would not put any stickers on my vette.

I have a convertible, I do have the hard top, but I don't plan to use it.

lower corner of windshield? I would check with the DMV office and find out if there is a specific location they need to be. Other than that, I cannot see the windshield as not being a good place.

Inspection stickers here in Louisiana tend to be on the driver's side lower front windshield. That is the only sticker I have on my vette. The rest of the state calls it and inspection sticker, but in New Orleans we call them brake tags.

We have inspection and registration stickers that both go on the lower driver's side of the windshield.

Ahhh, the dreaded inspection sticker. If you go to Rons of some other car shop, you can get metal plate to put the stickers on, then that piece of metal has sticky tape on it that you can just stick on your bumper or bottom of your car. I put my inspection sticker on one of them, but never put it on the car and haven't been pulled over yet. I keep it with me in case I do get pulled over though. Try to hit a car show and see how everybody else has theirs to get some ideas. My red car already had them stuck to the bumper :(

The Hawaii rules for the inspection sticker is that is has to be visible from the rear of the car.

Maurice,
The metal for the safety check looks ugly, and it always get caught on the cover. Theives can rip it off and use it on their own car.
I think I will find some light tape, cut it to size and tape it under the rear bumper and apply the stickers on the tape. If I take it to the shows, then I'll peel the whole thing off. ;)

can you make a bracket that attached to the bolts in the license plate ?

I wish our state had even the simplest of safety inspections. Just check all the lights when we go in for our emissions check. There are sooooo damn many people driving with only 1 or most often NO brake lights !!
It would only add 2 minutes to each car in the emissions line to have a simple check of headlights high and low, all four turn signals, brake lights and send them on their way.

Just buy a clinging window sticker that is a little bigger and use it to hold the inspection sticker to the window/windsheild that way it won't stick perm and you can move to clean.
