My 1982 C3 has all the symptoms of the year of it I've been reading here.....Low Idle,, sometimes erratic, Wanting to shift tinto higher gear too soon etc.. Gas crunch car, 85 MPH speedo, etc.
It runs good on the road, other than those things. Anybody ever "chipped" a C3? I 'm sure a lot of you all have! Worth it? Solve some of the issues I mentioned? The prom seems pretty cheap.... what's involved in changing it?

I tried the Hypertech Stage 2 chip on my 1988 C4 L98 automatic Corvette Coupe and felt no measurable difference. I use a GTech Pro to verify any gains or losses and it was a waste of time and money in my humble opinion.
There are things that could make your Cross Fire Injection really work great but they are specific to your engine. Talk to the Cross Fire experts here on this forum. Just ask any Cross Fire question and they will appear
My C3 has nothing with a "removable chip" in it. My C4 is another story being equipped with electronic fuel injected from the factory.
