Default 75-82 vs 69-74 Steering Column Upper Support Bracket

I just cleaned some surface rust off my original steering column upper support bracket and found two hairline cracks in the casting.
The cracks don’t look too bad and my original bracket may be useable, but I would rather replace it.
I spent some time on line searching for a replacement but the ones I’ve found all look pretty badly rusted or are freshly painted, which could be hiding similar cracks as I have.
I noticed that the 69-74 brackets look identical to the 75-82 brackets except the 75-82’s are stamped steel rather than cast iron.
Are the different model year brackets interchangeable?

If so does anyone sell the 75-82 brackets new reproduction?
Thanks!

I swapped out the heavy stock brackets for the later lighter brackets in my '69. I don't recall any problems or issues with the swap.

I swapped to the later bracket as well in my 69 to save weight also. Bolted right in.

I swapped the heavy cast one in my 71, for a later stamped steel one, as well. No difference except weight.

This morning I ordered a used later model stamped steel bracket from eBay.
Thanks for the help everyone!

The steering column support bracket arrived and the late model stamped steel bracket and the early model cast iron bracket are identical in every way except the late model bracket is much lighter.
I’ll sand the little surface rust off the new bracket, prime and paint it before it is installed.
