Gap and Dwell - Everyones favorite topic

I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your help with this ignition issue.
Napa/Echlin points and condenser installed. 14 AWG (-) coil lead installed. Gap set to .018. Made minor adjustments to points while running to achieve ~12V to coil without voltage drop due to heating ballast resister. Winds great all the way to 5k rpm (could NOT do this before). Final dwell according to INNOVA timing light is 25 deg. Right or wrong I'll take it. Runs very well.
Accel points in the garbage.
