Just went through and replaced all the carb gaskets and put everything back together and now fuel isnt getting into the carb. We took the fuel line off and primed it and that checked out then we took the filter off and it wasnt clogged or anything. We noticed the accel pump makes an air noise both old and new one we got. Hitting the throttle doesnt squirt any fuel. Ill provide photos and videos if needed but we're not sure where the fuel is even going.

OP is working with a Quadrajet, going off of their other thread.
I would check to make sure your fuel filter is installed the correct way, with the fuel flowing into the hole on one side and exiting through the pleats in the filter. Installing the filter backwards with the blind end of the filter facing out can prevent fuel from flowing to the carb.
We actually just got it running lol so we're good. Its running a lot stronger my only concern was one time while punching it it seemed to just stop at 4k. Other than that, seems a lot better but yes it is a quadrajet off a 79 corvette the # of it is somewhere in my other thread
If you have fuel pressure and fuel is not getting into the carb, you have assembled your float/needle/seat incorrectly. There is more to rebuilding a carb than changing the gaskets...
i believe our set needle was off center and we slapped our new accel pump in and it seems to run good now
