I'm totally new and not at all experienced. I'm just starting the restoration of my 1982 C3 corvette. Under the air filter I have this box that was added to the TPS sensor. Does anyone know what it's for? What is this green led box ?
That device is "Supposed" to give you more advanced timing and was sold at Mid-America back in the 1990's. If I recall correctly it was mounted in line with the TPS near the throttle body.
I have one identical to the one in the picture as it was on my C4 when I bought it. The green LED just means that it "is" working. I have tested with and without and there is little difference between the two.
What is this ?
