Key stuck in ignition, safety cable/reverse issue maybe
Key stuck in ignition, safety cable/reverse issue maybe, I disconnected the safety cable and now not only is key stuck but I can't get it into reverse.

the lever that is on your steering column, near the fire wall on the engine side, pull it all the way up. You will be able to get your key out. The cable may be frozen and why you can't shift into reverse, remove it on the reverse lever as well. It will have no other effect on the car.

Leave the key in the run position and then try the lever again. Make sure the cable is not hooked up to it. If you can't move it still it is locked up inside the column.
