Default Issues identifying cable+can

Hey Guys. Im currently trying to figure out which parts i need to Order. Ive stumbled upon a disconnected cable. Can anyone Help me identify what that is? My first thought was Kickdown cable but ive never Seen the Vacuum can IT connects to. Would really Help If someone could explain how it works. Last Time i drove the vette the Kickdown worked which is Strange because the can, afaik, was never connected to the cable.

Yes, that is the Cruise Control Servo.
Both the Servo & the Cable are 1977 1 year only parts.
The Cruise Transducer (if is still there) is mounted down below the master cylinder area.

On your intake manifold behind the carburetor there is a 3 way vacuum fitting. The center or top port should have s short piece of vacuum line conneted to a steel pipe, that line connects to the modulator valve of the transmission.
One of the ports of the 3 way fitting (generally the side facing passenger side) feeds the Cruise Transducer. That should be capped off if the Cruise is inoperable.
