I’m finishing up on my dash and found a connector that I failed to mark when I took everything apart. It’s a three prong connector and goes to what I think is an amplifier. I’m thinking this may be for the stock radio which was replaced before I bought the car. I’ve attached a photo but unfortunately it doesn’t show the connector but hopefully one of the experts on the forum will know for certain.

Yep, that's the "convector" for the stock, non-stereo radio unit. You may be able to get a few bucks for it.

Yes, that is an amplifier for the stock radio.

As the others have said that is the stock radio power amplifier assembly. I would suspect the connector you are indicating is part of the connection to the radio in the dash and was removed when the other radio was installed.

Thanks everyone. I was pretty certain that what it was used for but wanted expert opinions to make certain.
