Can someone help with this wire gauge? It’s from the starter solenoid (R) to the coil (P) and I need to replace. It looks like there may be a cloth temperature wrap on it. I didn’t see any gauge marked under the wire.
If your 71 has stock ignition point set up the positive terminal of the coil should have a double wire. The one in the picture is conventional wire. The second wire comes from the ignition switch and is a resistance wire. Do you have the second wire?
