Has anyone installed a Hurst “his/her” shifter in their C3? I understand this would take some fabrication for a clean fit but I’d like to put one in my 71 restomod. TH400 transmission. Any advice/ideas appreciated.

Unfortunately many youngsters don't know what a dual gate shifter is. Personally I think it's an excellent choice. I may be interested in doing the same thing. So I'll be watching. Personally I think it is doable.

For those with a jaw that isnt attached to the brain....the his and her shifter is akin to the new shifters in the sports cars they sell today...the straight down gate is for normal driving and putting it in drive and reverse and such...go over to the second gate and its like a ratchet shifter. Pull all the way back and its in first...push it up and its in second....push it up again and its in third/ drive. All the fun of the stick shift, but no clutch and it will smoke a four speed in a drag race...aaaaannnndddd no clutch. Add in a 3500 stall converter and you are dangerous like a new mustand at a cars and coffee.
That would be so much cooler than a stock shifter...

Had that in a 1968 GTO, great shifter. Don't know why Pontiac dropped it after 1969.
