So today I decided to put another Radio in my 81 Manual, should be fairly straight forward.
Well side panels Off (easy) Nope need more room ok take the center gauge panel loose everything should fall out, ( Nope) to do that the center console needs a couple things loosened.
So now I have the center loose the gauges out, so project for another day gets pushed up well I'm there. LED gauge upgrade Done ( much nicer) feeling good things going back in and what do I find!
THIS little circuit board with a 194 bulb, where and what because I didn't see it fall I just found it on top of transmission hump
Do yourself a favor test it before re-installing.
A couple jumpers and a 12vdc battery.
Jumper like the photo, light should turn on in about 20 seconds.
