What is the difference between a MSD 6A and MSD 6AL?

The AL has a built-in rev control and includes several rpm chips to select your max rpm.

ccan something be added to a msd 6a to make it a AL? in other words if you dont have a rev limiter can one be added ?

The MSD-6T can be hooked up to a Soft Touch Rev Control not the 6A.
