After much research I'm going with rubber body mounts. Who makes the best rubber body mounts? I was looking for Moog body mounts but can't find them to save my life!
I don't think Moog sells them. They are Corvette specific. The usual vendors like Zip, Corvette Central etc. sell the kits. Welcome to the forum and good luck. Jerry
I did all my body mounts just a couple years ago. I too wanted only the best mounts as it's just not the type of job you wish to do twice.
a lot of today's rubber products are just not up to the standards of yesterday's rubber products.
I learnt some interesting things while asking suppliers pointed questions.
Zip Corvette had no idea of the type of rubber used in the mounts they sell. However, after a little questioning I found out that they get there body mounts from Bairs Corvettes.
Bairs was happy to explain the composition of the rubber they use/have made for them.
In the end I went with the kit from Bairs Corvettes, purchased from Bairs Corvettes. The only issue I had was the shims that come with the kit are thinner than the factory shims. So instead of using a shim count. I went with overall thickness instead. Fairly minor.
