Good morning everyone. I have a 79 vette that I am restoring. I found a large pink wire with white stripe behind the heater area and have no clue where it goes or what it's for. I do know my generator/alternator light is on and I do not see anything showing on the ammeter. Everything looks in order behind the guages(no wires cut or unplugged) is the gadget cluster hard to remove.i know it has that printed circuit board. Maybe there is a burn mark somewhere on it. Thanks in advance. That pink wire was kind of hanging out around the heater controls and park brake area by drivers leg if that helps. I had to make a repair to the original radio harness and need to find a radio the will work with that small square plug and the antenna wite is there. Is there a way to test the rear power antenna by jumpering any wires? Sorry for so many questions.
Mine has ac but no electric windows or door locks. And when I turn on the ac i don't see the compressor kick on.. I bet that's it and there is nothing going to that spot .
