Locks
As it is my car only locks by using the key on both doors. The power locks don't work, the locks inside don't work. This is quite a hassle, as I'm sure you can imagine. :mad I would like to know how much it would cost to get them working again, and how hard it would be to do. I don't have to have the power locks working, but it would be nice. Any info you can provide is appreciated. :cheers:

Usually its because the plungers on the Power Locks are dry and stiff. You can oil them up and most will go back to working. Oil them under the rubber boot. Or you should be able to remove the conector rod and take the power activator loose. Lube all of the moving parts in the system.

Do your best not to drop any of the tiny retaining clips into the abyss :rolleyes: . If you do, I found that a clean, bagless vacuum works, or sometimes a magnet on a shaft. Goodluck.

Sounds like this will be fun! But its something I really want to get done, It'd be nice to leave stuff in my car!! Luckily my dad has one of those magnets on a shaft, so maybe we won't have too much of a problem. :banghead:
