Hey,
Its me again. I cant get my lower A Arm Bushing Out. Got IT Out a bit with the Tool i used for the upper ones but IT doesnt get any further. Does anyone know a good Trick to get em Out? Drilled Most oft the Rubber Out and tried IT with an Air chisel, didnt Work. Sprayed IT with Pb Blaster today and will try again tomorrow.
I would try air chisel again. focusing on the pic area to get metal part off and chisel out the rest. Use a socket to support. It took me a few tries.. post 6-7-8 were most helpful for me. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rs-method.html
I burned the Rubber Out and the Metal part on the shaft was easy to get of with a Hand chisel after The Rubber was burnt. The rest is still stuck, will have to try again. Any ideas on how to get the Metal sleeve Out? Maybee chisel on the Part of the outer sleeve you See from the underside of the a Arm to try and Break IT free? Now that the Rubber is gone there should be some room for IT to bend right and maybee Break loose?
Just won the fight. I guess i was to afraid to mess Things up. Thanks for your Help, i really appreciate IT. Now comes the fun Part, cleaning 50 year old gunk from all the parts.
