Hi,
I’ve tried matching thi color 3 times and no luck, can anyone tell me what color this is so that I can get the paint to match and touch up some interior pieces?
I’ve tried Saddle, and Medium Saddle, with no luck.
Imagine if they put a tag inside the drivers door forward piller. often referred to as the A piller. And on that tag they put the color of the body and the interior!
perhaps post a pic of that tag. And the year of your car.
Are you asking the color of the original (dash) interior parts, or the (new) seat covers? The metal tag mentioned in the prior post will provide interior color code of original parts. If you did not purchase the seat covers and want to know their color, I would GUESS that they were Medium Saddle.
I’ve already tried medium saddle. It’s not correct, I’m thinking it could be buckskin.. it’s the only one I haven’t tried, but that was 1976 and this is supposedly at 75, but most everything in this car has been rebuilt.
I lived in Sevierville in pigeon Forge for years.. I belong to the Knoxville TN Corvette club for a while. You probably know the guys up at Reeder Chevrolet.

I have Buckskin in my 77 and the moment I clicked on this the dash and door paneels look Buckskin. Your seats look different.
Buckskin is a ‘76-‘77 color. It has a light and dark version for the two tone interiors. I like the light buckskin more, which is why I converted it all to that color.
The best way I could describe dark buckskin is being the color of cardboard. That color seems a little more caramel like.
One tag is painted over, and the others are gone, so I have no way of knowing.
Hey et, there is only one metal trim tag on the pillar as 4-vettes referenced. Might want to clean the paint off for current and future reference. Good info on that metal tag.

Do you like your steering wheel? I was thinking about changing mine, I have bad hands and trouble gripping those thin ones, that’s why I have that wheel cover.
