Gents,
my air filter element is just about had it, old dry falling apart.
Do you guys just to the replacement foam element or do you go with a paper type common air filter.
Who makes a replacement paper type that fits the OEM triangle that will fit? K&N Wix? Or like said do you just replace the element foam.

If you want to keep dirt out of the engine, use a paper filter

That would be that main goal, any suggestions on who's filter to use, I have seen some different ones, Edlelbrock , off brand on ecklers, and K&N.
The Edelbrock looks too small and so does the one on Ecklers. The K&N looks like it would work, but want to get confirmation of fitment from someone who may have used it. The other two options say they would it but i do not trust it and maybe they would fit if I bout their matching air cleaners
You should probably check one of the large online Corvette parts suppliers.
Corvette America (Topflight), Corvette Central, or Zip.
They all have them.
2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
2019 C3 of Year Winner (performance mods)
2016 C3 of Year Finalist
K&N is washable and reusable, buy once cry once. YOu just need to clean and re-oil it. it will pay for itself in 3 years if you change your filter every year
FWIW , many years ago I got in touch with K and N and they made me that Tri-Power air filter as a 3 inch high version. I had the L88 hood and it fitted really well
